| Liberty Mutual’s purchase of Safeco moved one step closer to completion today, July 29, as Safeco investors voted overwhelmingly in favor of the transaction at this year’s annual meeting in Seattle. Of those shareholders who voted, 99.5 percent voted to approve the transaction. |
